An article in the Montreal Star on September 27, 1925 was titled “Baiting One Dread Disease With Another— Malaria-Bearing Mosquito Produces Relief for Insane Sufferers at Verdun”. The article carried a picture of Medical Superintendent Carlyle Porteous, MD, next to that of an Anopheline mosquito. Hydrotherapy and Cold Packs
